The Australian floral landscape is dominated by imported roses that are grown in countries with questionable worker’s rights and unsustainable and environmentally harmful practices. Rooftop Roses is a first-of-its-kind flower farm. We produce both field-grown flowers and hydroponic roses, with minimal environmental impact, grown less than an hour away from our Melbourne-based floral studio.

We believe that we have a profound responsibility to leave the planet in a better shape than we found it. The flowers we grow celebrate the beauty and splendour of the natural world, whilst being kind to the earth.Our flowers provide young women from refugee backgrounds marginalised from the mainstream workforce, with the skills, income, and experience needed to prepare them for employment in the rapidly changing workforce of the future.
